Week 31: Isaiah 1-12, Mark 7-16, Luke 1-2, Psalms 20-26
Congratulations on reaching Week 31!
This week, we begin a new journey through the Book of Isaiah, a prophetic book filled with messages of judgment, hope, and restoration. We also dive deeper into the Gospel of Mark, witnessing Jesus’ teachings, miracles, and ultimate sacrifice, as well as the beginning of His resurrection. Additionally, we begin the Gospel of Luke, focusing on the birth narrative of Jesus and the early stages of His ministry.
As you read, reflect on the tension between judgment and grace, the profound love and sacrifice of Jesus, and the hope that comes with His arrival as the Savior of the world. Isaiah challenges us to look toward God’s justice and promises of redemption, while Mark and Luke invite us to embrace the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.

What’s Ahead:
In Isaiah, we begin with prophecies of judgment against Israel and the surrounding nations, followed by messages of hope that point to the coming Messiah. Isaiah’s words bring us face to face with the brokenness of the world, but they also offer glimpses of God’s ultimate restoration and redemption.
In Mark, we continue to follow Jesus as He teaches about the Kingdom of God, performs miracles, and confronts opposition. His life, death, and resurrection offer us a path to salvation, and His example challenges us to live with humility and service to others.
The Gospel of Luke introduces us to the story of Jesus' birth, His early years, and the beginning of His ministry. Luke emphasizes Jesus’ compassion for the marginalized and His mission to bring salvation to all people.
Prayer for Week 31:
"Lord, thank You for the opportunity to read Your Word and grow in faith. As we dive into the prophecies of Isaiah, help us to understand Your justice and grace, and may we trust in Your promise of restoration. Thank You for the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, which offers us hope and salvation. Help us to follow Him faithfully, living lives of service, humility, and love. May the Psalms remind us of Your constant faithfulness and the joy that comes from trusting in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
